She started her career in Illinois and then moved to Georgia with her husband, Brent, a mechanical and aerospace engineer. She has become synonymous with LaFayette Center Animal Hospital and will be an asset to Fayette Veterinary Medical Center. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery (when she can eek Dr. Younker out of the surgery room!), and feline behavior. She has a very good "bedside" (cage-side) manner and is loved by our clients. She finds personal fulfillment in building relationships with our clients and bringing joy to them by helping their pets live happier, healthier lives. Dr. Beckler's personal interests include singing, reading, scrap-booking and horseback riding. Her days are kept busy by twin boys. Dr. Beckler has 5 cats, 2 dogs, and a grey thoroughbred named Dorean. "I can't imagine doing anything else but Veterinary Medicine. I decided upon this profession when I was three years old and never changed my mind! I love the variety of my days...my job is never boring."

Support Staff
Fayette Veterinary Medical Center has a staff of over 30 great people. We could not function as we do without the contributions of each member. We are a family and we'll always treat you and your pet as one of our own family!
People may ask about what each staffer does. We have Registered (Licensed) Veterinary Technicians (RVT) who have passed a licensing exam after extensive training and education. The laws of Georgia require that only certain tasks can be done by an RVT. We are in complete compliance with these requirements. We also employ Veterinary Technicians (legally termed Veterinary Assistants), Technician Assistants, Kennel Assistants, Groomers, Bathers, Client Service Representatives, Managers, and of course, Veterinarians. Every employee attends weekly staff meetings for training, encouragement, and veterinary education.
