- Associate Veterinarian
Must have a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) or equivalent and a Georgia Veterinary License. Experience is desired, but young, progressive, and eager professionals are also wanted. Please check with our office to see if there are any openings in the future.
- Client Service Representative
Must love animals and people. Meets a variety of needs of the pet-owner over the phone, in person, and by other methods of media. Must love to interact with others and create a positive experience, exceeding pet-owners' expectations of an animal hospital experience.
- Registered Veterinary Technician
Must have a license as a Veterinary Technician. Attended an accredited school of veterinary technology or had 5 years experience before taking license examination. At Fayette Animal Medical Center, Technicians have a great responsibility of nursing care for patients. This is a great opportunity for a life-long career in Veterinary Medicine.
- Veterinary Assistant
As with Veterinary Technology, much opportunity exists as a Veterinary Assistant. With a few exceptions, Veterinary Assistants are trained on-the-job without attending formal training. Veterinary Assistants will become proficient in almost every aspect of veterinary technology from the handling of animals to performing many diagnostic procedures to assisting the Veterinary Technician and the Veterinarian in all tasks performed in a day's work.
- Kennel Technician
The Kennel Technician is involved in all of the care, feeding, and cleaning of the animals within the hospital. Also, the Kennel Technician keeps the hospital in top form. This is a very important position that requires a person who cares deeply for animals and can keep the doctors, technicians, and assistants informed about the condition of boarding pets.
